Infrastructure Engineer

San Francisco

About the Role

We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who is excited to build the foundation that powers our product as we enter a new stage of growth. In this role, you’ll design and maintain the systems that keep our platform fast, reliable, observable, and secure. You’ll own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, automation, and production operations.

You’ll have more ownership than at most companies — you’ll shape architecture, make decisions that impact the entire engineering organization, and work across the stack to ensure our platform scales smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

  • Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems as the product grows.

  • Own CI/CD pipelines and improve developer workflows, tooling, and automation.

  • Partner closely with backend and frontend engineers to design resilient system architectures.

  • Monitor system health and performance, and lead improvements to observability and alerting.

  • Ensure best practices for security, secrets management, and least-privilege access.

  • Drive incident response, root-cause analysis, and ongoing reliability improvements.

  • Help shape engineering processes, deployment strategies, and long-term infrastructure roadmap.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6+ years experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.).

  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, distributed systems, and system performance.

  • Familiarity with logging, metrics, tracing, and modern observability stacks.

  • A pragmatic, automation-first mindset.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ownership.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience managing production environments at scale.

  • Background in security engineering or compliance frameworks.

  • Experience with service mesh, event-driven architectures, or multi-region deployments.

  • Comfort building internal tooling for developers.

  • Interest in helping build the engineering culture as the company grows.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • High ownership and autonomy — you’ll directly influence what we ship and how we build.

  • A product that customers love, with strong early traction and a huge opportunity ahead.

  • A collaborative, low-ego team that values learning, quality, and impact.

  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.
